Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10, 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr. A tool and die manufacturer, who been employed as a worker in a manufacturing company. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her 3 siblings. Stone was thought to be gifted academically in her early years and entered second grade at five. She was a graduate of Saegertown High School in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. Stone also participated at the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, which she won Miss Crawford County. Stone and her aunt moved out of New Jersey to New Jersey in order to pursue a career as a model in 1977. They signed up for The Ford Modeling Agency after a short period of time. Her next move was to Europe where she spent one year residing in Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone was disillusioned with the model world in Europe took up acting as she lived in Europe. Stone was a 20-year-old in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories" the film which got mixed reviews.
