Keesha Sharp

The film of Tyler Perry Why Did I Get Married also features her. Perry, Janet Jackson and the independent film Frozen Peas are all starring with her. Some of her film credits include The 636 (for which she was awarded Best Actress in 2014's NYLA International Film Festival), Shattered! Never Die Alone, American Adobo, and American Adobo. Cum Laude's B.F.A. was awarded to Keesha following her graduation. Keesha started her professional career as a stage actress after completing her studies at Cum Laude Conservatory with the B.F.A. Keesha was a part of The Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other theatrical performances are Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Keesha read along with playwright August Wilson himself. Keesha is also the director of several episodes of "Lethal Weapon", Are We There Yet? and the shorter films One Day, Lillian, and Half Off. Keesha co-created Clean, The Brit & Broken Doll. Additionally, she is working on several new projects in construction. Keesha is currently working on an album that is full of length to display her voice following her success with "Santa Baby".
